GanaBlade (加纳战刃 "Ghanaian War Blade") (ガナブレード) is a vertical fast-paced 2D shoot'em up developed by Liao Kai. It features nostalgic retro pixel graphics and gameplay reminiscent of the golden era of shooting games, thus heavily inspired in Compile games, but with mechanics inspired from modern shmups from Raizing or CAVE titles. The game has a FC Contra styled soundtrack.

Gameplay Overview
Ganablade is a two-button, 8-bit-styled vertical scrolling shooting game, with 2 playable ships, Type-A and Type-B (plus the secret Type-C ship by pressing J and L keys on the ship and mode select screen), 6 stages, 3 shot types to cycle through, a Gun-Nac styled shop system and a variety of difficulty settings for both beginners and experts.
Controls
- WASD: Moves the player's ship in 8 directions. can be used to navigate through the game's menu.
- I: Fires the ship's main shot weapon. Confirms the player's selection in the main menu.
- O: Activates the ship's sub-weapon skill, it has different properties depending what main weapon is the player using.
Cancels the player's selection in the main menu. - Esc key: Pause Menu.
- Arrow Keys: Moves the player's ship in 8 directions. can be used to navigate through the game's menu.
- Numpad 1: Fires the ship's main shot weapon. Confirms the player's selection in the main menu.

Characters/Weapons
There are two playable characters with their respective ships, Gana (GANA-G01) and Minai (BLADE-XA3). Each ship has three different shot types and three special weapons' skill shot, which changes depending of what main shot type is being used.
Strategy
- Depending on what weapon type you have equipped, you can milk some patterns for extra gold and score.
