Ultimate Ecology (JP: アルティメット エコロジー) is a horizontal shoot em' up released by Capcom in 1994.
The game was localized overseas as Eco Fighters.

Gameplay Overview
Controls
Ultimate Ecology is a 3-button game with 7 stages.
- A button: Rotates the arm counter-clockwise.
- B button: Fires the arm's main shot/secondary shot; holding the button down releases a charge shot.
- C button: Rotates the arm clockwise.
Items
Arms have 5 levels of power, getting hit removes 2 levels. Every arm has a charge attack except laser sword.
Vulcan, Bomb, and Homing are fired by the player's ship.

Extra Lives
On default settings, extra lives are granted at 400,000 points and 800,000 points.

Story
The story takes place on a future where the age of space develompent is going around. There were a lot of people traveling troughout the galaxy, dreaming of becoming millionares. As a result of it, many space related enterprises were born, and have grown a lot from mining the surfaces of planets. The biggest space enterprise is Goyolk K.K., who turned several planets into something called "dread spheres". And now, Goyolk plans to turn the Earth into a dread sphere too. An old man from Earth known as Dr. Moly sends two young pilots to fight back against Goyolk K.K. and save the Earth from the contamination.
