History
This game was initially downloadable from the Google Play Store, but has since been taken down. You can still get the APK if you look for it online, and it will probably still work on newer phones.
Crimson Mode seems to have been added for the 1st Anniversary of the game, which was April 2013.
Game Structure
The game is a level-based boss rush, basically. There are 31 bosses in total, each available on 4 difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Hell.
After completing a stage, you'll be awarded with 1-3 stars. Star 1 you get for beating the stage. Star 2 and 3 require you to beat the stage under certain goal times.
- For Hell mode only, you will always be awarded 3 Stars, regardless of time spent.
Gameplay
Move Character: Touch and move finger
Shooting: Your character will shoot automatically.
Force Field
Force Field: Hold with one finger, then tap with another.
Blue bar on the bottom-left must be fully charged before usage.
-It is a small spherical shield that lasts ~2-3 secs.
-The shield erases all bullets it comes in contact with.
-It also deals damage to enemies it touches, and it is quite strong.
-It's affected by your movement at the time of activating it.
-It will move in the angle you were moving at the time, and will retain the speed too.
-It also will slow down slightly over time.
Thus, the Force Field is useful both defensively and offensively.
The Easy and Normal mode versions of Boss 003 are tutorials for this mechanic.

Strategy & Tips
The game provides some empty space on the bottom of the screen. This is so you can put your finger lower than your character, making it possible to see where you are while still maintaining full range of movement
About shooting... your character will shoot faster depending on how close you are to the boss. So if you are right below the boss, you will do lots more damage than if you're far away from it.
Crimson Mode
This mode can be found in the Extras menu. In this mode, you'll face off against a somewhat longer boss with various different bullet patterns. As opposed to the main game, getting hit here will not end the run, but rather give a +5 second penalty to your timer.
