Very dangerous enemy that shoots a random volley during phase 1 and a stream of homing missiles during phase 2. As there are three of them at the end of the stage, they are conventionally called "Ichirō" (firstborn), "Jirō" (secondborn), and "Saburō" (thirdborn) by Japanese players.

These turrets shoot a straight laser beam every time the main pod stops moving. For whatever reason the right turret is worth 10 points more.

After a while, the center will explode and an additional turret shows up firing a deadly stream of bullets. If both laser turrets are destroyed, the pod starts moving frantically and becomes even more dangerous.

Possibly the most difficult boss of the game if you don't have a very good plan laid out in advance. The big red orbs during phase 2 are particularly hard to dodge with Type C and require solid routing.

Very difficult midboss that consists of two parts. If you damage the main part too much, the pod will detach and hell breaks loose. Therefore, aim for the pod first and only then for the main body. The sooner you destroy this midboss, the more bonus enemies will spawn.
