Terarin Games is a indie videogame developer and publisher from Japan, created by the lead programmer, Junichi Terayama, known as Terarin55.

Their main focus is creating retro-styled shooting games, but without the “unfairness” of that era[1]. The main target platforms are Steam and the Nintendo Switch, but many of their games are also available in a visually stripped-down version on Android.

According to interviews[2][3] Junichi Terayama is an information security engineer by day, and develops shooters in his spare time, using the GameMaker engine.
