Resources

You start the game with 3 lives (represented by stars) and 3 bombs (represented by [S])

You gain more lives by increasing your score, and every time you gain a life, you gain an additional bomb

You also refill your bombs back to 3 when you complete a stage. So using up all your bombs to defeat a boss is optimal unless your current number of bombs exceeds 3

This game has an automatic deathbomb whenever you get hit with any numebr of bombs in stock. But deathbombing uses up all your bombs, so it's best to use your bombs prematurely so as to not waste them in a deathbomb. Unless it's your last bomb, in which case you should never manually use it

Extra stage

This game has a secret extra stage which doesn't need to be unlocked, and can be accessed by simply pressing E in the title screen. It also comes with multiple difficulties which you can select from: easy, normal, hard, very hard, and ultimate

Additional notes

  • Idling in the main menu for a bit reveals the backstory
  • The enemies don't have a hitbox, meaning the player can contact them and even go through them without dying
  • You have an infinite amount of continues, and using a continue does not change the ending
  • To trigger the TLB, you must beat the final boss with 10 lives in stock, and beating it grants you an alternative ending
