Exed Exes (JP: 超浮遊要塞エグゼドエグゼス "Super Floating Fortress Exed Exes") is a vertically scrolling shoot em' up released by Capcom in 1985.


The game was localized overseas as Savage Bees.

Gameplay Overview

Controls

Exed Exes is a 2-button game with 16 stages. Finishing all of them will start the second loop.

  • A button: Fires the main shot.
  • B button: Activates a Mega-Crush (clears all enemy bullets).

Items


Upgrades only increase range and cannot be used in conjuncton.

Exedexes yellow.png Yellow Pow
Transforms the player's shot into a double wave beam.
Exedexes white.png White-Yellow Pow
Transforms the player's shot into a triple wave beam.
Exedexes green.png White-Green Pow
Triple wave beam with increased range.
Exedexes wop.png woP
Resets the player's shot, gives a 10,000 point bonus on pickup.
Exedexes sakachi.png Sakachi
Adds one Mega-Crush and a 5,000 point bonus, appears every 250,000 points (every 50,000 until 250,000 points is reached).
Exedexes pow.png Pow (Frameless)
Transforms all enemies into fruit.
Exedexes fruit.png Fruit
Score item, values depend on enemy type.

Extra Lives


On default settings, extra lives are gained every 250,000 points (every 50,000 until 250,000 points is reached).

Loops


Exed Exes loops until the player reaches 10,000,000 points.
