This wiki was created among a growing need in the shoot-em-up community for a reliable compendium of fact-checked and up-to-date information for all things related to shmups.
The ultimate goal of the Shmups Wiki is to contain detailed strategic information for every shmup made for every platform, as well as detailed information about the plots (when available), development history, and the culture surrounding the genre in general.
