Imperishable Night (main series)

Perfect Cherry Blossom (Japanese name: 東方妖々夢, Touhou Youyoumu) is the 7th main series Touhou Project game, developed and released by the one-person doujin circle Team Shanghai Alice in 2003. PCB refined and expanded many of the systems introduced in The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, while also introducing the concept of point item value (called Cherry in PCB), which would become a staple of Touhou scoring systems. While considered one of the easier Touhou games for a 1CC on most difficulties, PCB's scoring system is known for being complicated and requiring rigorous routing and intense grazing.

Controls

PCB uses the standard Touhou control scheme. The controls are designed for keyboards, but the game supports controllers with remappable controls.

  • Z: Shoot
  • X: Bomb
  • Shift: Focus

Playable Characters and Shot Types

Perfect Cherry Blossom has 3 playable characters, with 2 shot types each. Each shot type has different shot behavior and a different bomb.

This game is also notable for being the first appearance of Sakuya Izayoi, the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil 5 boss, as a playable character.
