CHA-STG / Charlene
my name is Natasha Lyn-Marie Charlene Excelsia, and i run the Shmups Wiki, a wiki dedicated to archiving important (and accurate) information about the glorious world of shmups. i go by CHA-STG in the shoot-em-up community, and Queen Charlene in the fighting game community. i am a non-binary transgender woman, and i use she/her and they/them pronouns.
when i'm not shmuppin' or fightin' hours of my day away, i am working on pixel art animations and designing games with my indie developer company, DANGER HEART Entertainment (formerly known as alpha six productions). we are currently developing a game called The Joylancer: Legendary Motor Knight, due for release in 2020/2021!
i also have a storied background as a sprite ripper for various sprite archives on the internet -- such as Sprite Database and The Spriters' Resource -- formerly under the alias "Ashimura". recently, thanks to this wiki, i've come back to it as a hobby, and i contribute a vast majority of sprites and screenshots on this wiki!
