Hollow Song of Birds
Touhou Shinjutou ～ Hollow Song of Birds (東方真珠島) is a Touhou Project fangame developed by Team Kaisendo (raichu, ido and Shijimi Nono) in 2018 with the Danmakufu PH3 engine.

Gameplay overview
Gameplay revolves in collecting crystals to increase score. Bombing will further increase the value and score. Lives and bombs also have a gauge, which when full, bombs and Extends are awarded.
A boss has a special gauge that when full, it will start a Last Z-Spellcard, like some sort of Last Word.
The player as well counts with a Z-Spell bomb, capable of dealing destructive damage in a varied area.
Controls
Like the official games, uses the standard Touhou control scheme, as well the addition of the Z-Spell bomb button.
- Z: Shoot
- X: Bomb
- C: Z-Spell bomb
- Shift: Focus
On keyboard, movement can be done using either the arrow keys or the number pad. The gamepad can also be configured using the config program of the game.
Difficulties
The game has 4 difficulty modes. The higher difficulties are, of course, harder, and also have higher scoring potential. The difficulty modes are:
- Easy
- Normal
- Hard
- Lunatic
The game also has an Extra stage, which has the original Extra difficulty, and as well the addition of an Extra Easy difficulty. To unlock Extra, the player has to 1cc the main game on any difficulty.

Scoring is highly based on crystal collecting and different maneuvers on score gaining.

Trivia
- In the Extra Stage, EX mid-boss 3 Horou´s pattern is a reference to Yuyuko´s pre-final spellcard from Perfect Cherry Blossom.
