Rank

Turbo Force's rank system is based on 3 values: survival, shot power, and total defeated enemies. Dying reduces survival rank, but doesn't impact the other 2 values.

Rank affects bullet speed, enemy/boss health, rate of fire and bullet seal range.

Loops

Turbo Force loops infinity. Rank carries over from the previous loop.

Story

3 American Air Force pilots, while racing their cars on a public road, wander into another mysterious dimension and get caught up in a war with an alien civilization (Oops!). In order to protect this new world, the pilots modify their cars into flying, fighting machines.[1]

Development History

Trivia

  • Turbo Force was originally meant to be an overseas version of Metal Rabbit, a sequel to Rabio Lepus.[2]
    • The reason for this was to simplify mechanics of Rabio Lepus for overseas markets. However, when a game deadline was set, these mechanics were considered impossible to implement in time, resulting in only Turbo Force being completed.
