While not typical to have a shooter game and a puzzle cross-over, there are several games that introduced puzzle elements of various types and to various degrees.

Some call these “puzzle shooters”, but since it is an open question at which point a shooter becomes a “puzzle shooter”, we simply tag those that apply such mechanics with this category.
